*** Meeting registration closes at BST 5pm on 25 August 2017 ***

Abstract submission is encouraged, and registration is essential.

As before, our primary focus is on providing a platform to explore issues relevant to clinicians involved – or interested in getting involved – in research. This event is open to all, and is free to attend.

This year we will be covering 3 areas of particular contemporary interest:

  • Patient and public involvement in research
  • How to build a successful mentor/mentee relationship? We have also included a “Speed-Mentoring” session to give a taster for potential mentees – sign up via this embedded link!
  • How do doctors in training get involved in clinical trials?

In addition, complementary lunch will be provided from 12:00, and a poster session will showcase current clinical academic research with a £50 prize (Amazon voucher) for the best poster presented. If you are interested in entering this competition, please submit your abstract via our Google Form link (abstract submission closes on 18 August 2017).

Finally, there will be opportunities for your professional profile photographs to be taken.
