Date: *change of date* Friday 10th November
Venue: UoG Learning and Teaching Centre, 64 Southpark Avenue, Glasgow G12 8LB
This workshop provides a platform to think about communicating our own research succinctly, both in writing and in a soft interview.
It also means that researchers will have the opportunity to make a short professionally-edited video about their own research, which the researchers could put on their own or UoG profile pages.
Please contact CiRN at Contact@CiRNglasgow.org for more information.
Registration via EventBrite is essential
What it’s all about?
Making the most of your research
You are working on something wonderful. But how do you let other people know? Your message has to be succinct, easily understood and well delivered.
This workshop aims to give you the tools and confidence to present your research in front of camera – whether to other academics, or the public.
What do you need to bring?
Bring a written script of 2 to 3 minutes. Write it like you are telling it to someone else. We’ll work on editing, changing the style and picking out what matters. And more importantly, making sure you feel comfortable delivering it in front of camera. By the end, you’ll produce a 2-minute video summary of your work.
